Easter!

Easter!

So, today is my favorite holiday! I've made a tradition for every Easter, to kinda escape everything and go the beach by myself, and get into God's Word and just really focus on what the Jesus has done for me. Mocho Mango +beach + sun rays + bible + journal = perfect components for a perfect Easter.

It's the day we get to celebrate the day the Lord came back life after unselfishly being crucified. This last week, I took a week off from school, to work on a project for work, and when ever I got off, since I didn't have to go straight to school, I really got to get into God's Word and just focus on my QuietTime and my time with Lord. And this year, my Easter isn't just "oh ya, it's Easter, it's when Jesus was came back to life", I'm truly excited about it. It's amazing how much just getting into God's Word and spending time with him, can truly give you passion for Him. I look at Christ, as my dad, who is perfect, and would chose to give up his life, for me, someone who should be up that cross. He was betrayed, tortured, whipped, slashed, and mocked by people. Three days after dying, Jesus rose again! And through his blood, we are saved. And there can't be a more selfless gift than that!

And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, ¹⁸"See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death ¹⁹and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.
